Bergen County Roads Division Completes Godwin and Linwood Avenue Paving Projects

Ridgewood NJ, its a great day for Ridgewood the pothole marred Linwood Avenue  has been paved .The last leg of the County paving project was completed on Tuesday, August 8th. The County Roads Division has been hard at work most of the summer all over the county and while many county roads are still in need of improvement Ridgewood can be grateful for getting Franklin, Godwin and Linwood  paved in the last couple of years . All this will greatly improve traffic flow and cut congestion in and out of the central business district in Ridgewood and not to mention be far easier  on your tires and teeth fillings .

Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police Department has had several reports of three males ringing doorbells and banging on doors around 0230 hrs. on August 10. We are aware of a similar incident with the same suspects that was posted on social media today as well. In one incident, a resident reported that their storm door was broken and damaged. Glen Rock Police Search for Bottle King Shoplifter

Glen Rock NJ, the Glen Rock Police Department is investigating another shoplifting of alcohol from the Glen Rock Bottle King. The above individual took several bottles off the shelf and exited with the liquor. The suspect entered the passenger seat of a 2016 white Infinity Q50 which was being driven by another individual. This vehicle is registered to a business out of Wayne, NJ. The suspect was confronted by a store manager as he was entering the vehicle. The vehicle fled in a reckless and dangerous manner from the parking lot.

Fair Lawn Crash Downs Utility Pole Blocking Midland Avenue

Fair Lawn NJ, the driver of a 4-door Honda Accord sustained non-life threatening injuries after crashing into a utility pole late Friday afternoon, 08/11, on Midland Avenue in Fair Lawn. Fair Lawn EMS transported the victim to a local hospital. A utility pole downed in the crash blocked Midland Avenue in both directions for an extended period. Fair Lawn Police and Fair Lawn EMS responded to the incident along with repair crews from PSE&G’s Electric Division and Verizon. The Honda was towed from the scene.

Late Night Crash on Route 208 Southbound in Fair Lawn Leaves 3 Seriously Injured

Fair Lawn NJ, three (3) individuals were seriously injured late Thursday evening, 08/03, when a Nissan Maxima crashed into an overpass on Route 208 southbound at Saddle River Road in Fair Lawn. All victims were transported to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus by multiple Fair Lawn EMS ambulances. A paramedic team from The Valley Hospital assisted Fair Lawn EMS with patient evaluation. Paramus Police assisted Fair Lawn Police with traffic control. The demolished Nissan was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. An entrance ramp to Route 208 southbound at Saddle River Road was closed while emergency responders assisted the victims and cleaned up the mess.
