“In reading the tag lines for this article I noticed “Ridgewood For Black Liberation” which prompted me to visit their Facebook page. There I saw a video of the entire protest march and a still photo with a comment, “Thank you comrades for your support”. “Soladarity forever”. This posting came from The Central NJ Democratic Socialists of America, so it begs the question just how many Ridgewood residents are involved in these protest marches, and how many young people in town are being “recruited” by the DSA to carry forth their agenda. If this is an ongoing thing, today Ridgewood, tomorrow the rest of Bergen County.”

Ridgewood NJ, Catherine Brienza  is the founder and president of JOLT USA commented in a Facebook post ,”Will someone please explain this quasi military presence in Ridgewood yesterday right at the time of the peaceful “teach in”? Who called for this waste of our Taxpayer money? They were marching around village hall and the library area.Who requested this presence? The Mayor? Police Chief? Village Council? Who???”

Those photos of the police lined up or behind Village Hall and yes it was night time. The rally had ended before it got dark. It seems to us that someone is trying to make a name for themselves by stirring up trouble and problems in a the Village of Ridgewood where they do not exist .

“And again. No publicity is the human trafficking rally July 30. Ridgewood is becoming a joke. I saw the Facebook pictures most likely trying to cause a controversy.
I was absolutely appalled when I saw the pics and video posted in the comments of the RWPD actually blocked the roads to let these losers walk the streets. They even had no leader in the front. I am 100 percent behind ridgewood police. I am sure the orders to do this came from above.
Ridgewood had two protests or whatever they called it after Floyd. One at vets and one walk to the YMCA.
Enough is enough. The same guy with the bullhorn. Same people.
TIME TO HAVE A SUPPORT THE BLUE Rally in ridgewood.”

“Don’t underestimate the threat of these white kids from Ridgewood pose. Are they true Marxists? Most of them, probably not. Are the capable of violence? Most of them, probably not. They are not wolves, they are sheep, and that’s the threat. They will offer themselves, family, friends and neighbors for slaughter.”

Reader says , “This downtown is not my downtown anymore”

hudson garage6

“I passed by Broad St last night. The garage is HUGE. This garage reminds me of the monsters they have built in Yonkers and other areas in Westchester County. Even half the size would have been more than sufficient. The apartment complex is more than huge. Ugly sh!t all around. And it is just a start. They should rename Broad St to Broad Ave.
This downtown is not my downtown anymore. I will stay out of it.”

“To the people in that photo: HAVE EACH OF YOU PERSONALLY PAID SIGNIFICANT MONETARY REPARATIONS?

If not, then put the sign down and stop protesting! You’re a hypocrite!

My counter-protesting sign would read: “Anyone demanding reparations must first pay reparations him/herself”.

My other sign reads: “If you live in a glass house, it’s unwise to throw stones!

“It is their goal to overwhelm the police and the community with tiring endless protests to wear them down and make them lose patience. Once someone gets a little mistreated by a nervous police staff or a frustrated town resident all hell about defunding the police will break lose. I wouldn’t be surprised if the sick minds behind these gatherings would like to turn us into Portland. Anything can be expected from these psychos. In the process crime benefits.
Is there a rule about how many protests someone can organize within a period of time? What happens if they ask for a protest every day? Do they need a permit to organize meetings and marches?”

Benefits of Hiring a Designer for Your Home Makeover

The Van Buskirk home2

Our homes are where we spend a good chunk of our lives. It is because of this that it is so important our homes are designed the way that we want them to be; there are many reasons we may need to hire a home designer, from simply not having time, to being physically unable to redesign our homes. If you have the budget available, as interior designers can often be very expensive and want changes made to your home, you should waste no time redesigning your house. Some changes like adding white skirting boards, is also a good thing. We should be as comfortable as possible, and in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic even more so, considering we are spending much more time indoors, and many of us are working from home.
