Ridgewood NJ, starting Sunday evening, October 18, 2020, at 9:00pm, Ridgewood Water (RW) will perform hydrant flushing in the systems of all four municipalities served by the utility. This is an essential part of our system maintenance program because it helps us to continue to provide you with high-quality water service. In order to cleanse the system, we have to systematically open the fire hydrants to increase water flows. This allows us to “flush” any minerals and deposits from the pipes that may have accumulated.

“From time to time I come across this blog. I find it so interesting that people who live in places like Ridgewood and Greenwich claim to speak on behalf of folks who live a world away – not in miles but in practicality. I applaud the person here who suggested reading. These are complex issues and require one to really understand history and data to come to any reasonable conclusion. I also agree that the education system is broken. In short, the liberalism has created a distorted view and poisoned the well of young minds. It pushes a singular view point instead of encouraging students to seek out knowledge from different sources. I find it interesting that folks on the Democratic side either do not know, or forget, the party’s own history. This is the party that created “Jim Crow”. It is the party of segregation. It is the party of Fascism. Read the history folks. These are simple facts. The Nuremburg laws where created in the late 1930’s, not out of thin air, but modelled after the segregationist laws of the US deep south. FDR was a huge fan of Moussolini – and the list goes on.”

Ridgewood NJ, the Pallotta For Congress campaign paid a visit to the Village of Ridgewood yesterday . Frank made the rounds in the central business district and has been outspoken in his support for small business , which has suffered disproportionately due to the disruption of COVID19 and then with the tyrannical lock downs imposed by Governor Murphy .

Ridgewood NJ, the Village of Ridgewood central business district was once again hit bad luck , the Village dedicated Columbus Day to Village restaurants by once again creating a pedestrian mall . Unfortunately so far the heavens have conspired against the effort be releasing showers . While many like the idea of open air dinning coupled with a walkable downtown , some Village merchants grumble that the pedestrian mall takes away from business eliminating the quick pick up by making it near impossible . The upside to the uncooperative weather is that Columbus Day is a legal holiday in Ridgewood and parking is FREE.
