If seen, please contact the police department and do not approach,” the department said on Twitter at 9:02 a.m.

A 911 caller who was unfamiliar with the area had reported the crash to Ridgewood Police, hence Ridgewood Police, Ridgewood Fire Department, and Ridgewood EMS units were the first to arrive at the scene. The victim was transported by a Ridgewood EMS ambulance to The Valley Hospital. A tow truck removed the heavily damaged vehicle from the scene. Damage to the structure required evaluation by a Borough of Paramus building inspector. Paramus Police , Paramus Fire Department, and the Paramus Rescue Squad also responded to the incident.
Ridgewood NJ, A Saturday night fist fight involving 2 male youths on the grounds of RHS reportedly drew more than 100 spectators and required Ridgewood Police to ask for police assistance from multiple towns and the Bergen Sheriff’s Office to disperse the gathered crowd. No arrests were made, nor were any injuries reported in connection with the melee.

One (1) person was extricated from the heavily damaged vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Paramus NJ, Paramus police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Lodi, who they say was carrying a loaded pistol in a fanny pack at the Garden State Plaza shopping mall.
Waldwick NJ, a Waldwick Police patrol officer observed a stolen motorcycle traveling at 130 mph on Route 17 southbound late Saturday afternoon, 04/24, and pursed the bike and its adult male operator into Paramus, where heavy highway traffic forced the operator to exit onto West Ridgewood Avenue. A successful traffic stop was then initiated, and the operator was taken into custody. A tow truck was summoned to remove the impounded motorcycle from the roadway. No injuries were reported in the incident. Paramus Police officers assisted at the arrest scene until back up Waldwick Police units arrived.
Paramus NJ, a marked Paramus police cruiser responding to an emergency call was involved in a three (3) vehicle, Sunday afternoon, 04/18, collision at the intersection of Paramus Road and West Century Road, Paramus. A driver of a civilian vehicle (vehicle #2) involved in the crash was transported by a Paramus EMS ambulance to The Valley Hospital with a non-life threatening injury. The uniformed police officer and the civilian driver of vehicle #3 were not injured. Flatbed tow trucks removed all three (3) damaged automobiles from the scene. The emergency warning lights were still flashing on the damaged police vehicle following impact; no word on whether the vehicle’s siren was also in use prior to the mishap.
Paramus NJ, on Friday March 26 approximately 1 pm a Grey Toyota (?) stopped short hitting a BMW on Oradell Avenue between Pascack Road and Forest Avenue, the BMW drivers says the other driver slammed on his breaks then sped away from the totaled BMW.
Paramus NJ, late afternoon/early evening northbound traffic on Route 17 in Paramus was significantly slowed on Monday, 03/29, because of a three (3) vehicle, hit & run crash near the Linwood Avenue exit. The adult male driver of a small white colored pick up truck sustained minor injuries and transported by a Paramus EMS ambulance to The Valley Hospital. The occupants of a dark colored Audi 4-door sedan appeared uninjured and were able to drive their vehicle away on its own power. Paramus Police was reportedly searching for a blue SUV with heavy front end damage that fled the scene. The damaged pick up was removed from the highway by a flatbed tow truck. Ridgewood Police assisted with traffic control.
