Vandalism Reported At Orchard and Willard Schools in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, at Monday nights Ridgewood Board of Education meeting the Ridgewood Board of Education conducted an overview of vandalism occuring by trespassers at two of our schools, Orchard and Willard, this summer was reviewed. A child has been injured after falling on broken glass with the most recent incident.

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood community is invited to “Meet the Manager” meeting on Monday, September 18th at Village Hall. All are invited to share ideas, concerns and opinions. Woodland Park Mayor Keith Kazmark resigned to become the new village manager of Ridgewood. Kazmark previously served as Elmwood Park clerk and administrator and as the administrator in Parsippany.  In addition to his former mayoral duties, Kazmark also served as the administrator in Woodland Park.

Two Men and One Juvenile Arrested in Armed Garfield Carjacking

Garfield NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of CHRISTOPHER GONZALEZ (DOB: 08/27/2003; single; unemployed) of 85 Mercer Street, Paterson, NJ; RAEKWON J. NORWOOD (DOB: 01/19/2003; single; unemployed) of 83 Garfield Avenue, Paterson, NJ; and a 17-year-old JUVENILE with carjacking, armed robbery, weapons and theft offenses. The arrests are the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Garfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Richard Uram.

Lodi NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JONATHAN R. CZYZEWSKI (DOB: 4/09/1986; single; unemployed) of 193 Blue Ridge Drive, Levittown, PA, on charges of aggravated arson, arson, and criminal mischief.  The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Lodi Police Department under the direction of Chief Donald Scorzetti.

Wanted Queens Gang Member Snagged In Mahwah Traffic Stop

Ridgewood NJ, keep an eye on the moon tonight . Tonight’s super blue moon will reach its peak at 9:36 p.m. EDT. Those looking to the skies may also spot Saturn, which will be visible near the moon around 8:42 p.m. EDT and appear to swing clockwise around the moon as the evening progresses, according to NASA. Saturn should be visible just by looking up, but binoculars or a telescope will help viewers make out some of the planet’s distinguishing features.

BERGEN COUNTY EXPANDS ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING CAPACITY

Paramus NJ, Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco III along with the Board of County Commissioners and Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella recently celebrated the installation of new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Bergen County Administrative Complex in Hackensack. With the installation of the new chargers, the County increases its total charging footprint by 40 percent with the capacity to accommodate 16 additional cars. In total, Bergen County has installed 37 electric vehicle charging stations at County facilities over the last four years.

Edgewater Park NJ, the Office of the Attorney General today announced a state grand jury has voted to file criminal charges against a college student who allegedly deceived children he contacted online into providing him sexually explicit videos of themselves, then used the internet connection of his Essex County-based university to upload the videos online.
